A visit from the AA inspectors can be a nerve wracking time for a hotel but The Kings in Chipping Campden had nothing to fear.
The hotel, which has been part of Sir Peter Rigby's award-winning Eden Hotel Collection since 2008, was highly praised by the AA on their recent inspection.
The team at The Kings were delighted to have achieved an additional AA Rosette to add to its existing one, marking it out as a restaurant to set the standard in the area. This level of recognition highlights the ‘great precision apparent in the cooking’ and ‘obvious attention to the selection of quality ingredients’. Diners now value more highly than ever restaurants that source local, seasonal produce; The Kings is committed to this practise and to creating imaginative, mouth watering dishes.
The hotel also retained their ranking of ‘Highly Commended’ 4 AA Stars for their attentive, personalised service, very good beds and high quality furniture. With 4 AA Stars guests can be assured of extremely high standards, as agreed by the AA and VisitBritain.
The Kings early morning offering was given an AA ‘eggcup’ award to recognise high quality ‘with an emphasis on freshly prepared local ingredients’. With breakfast being the most important meal of the day, this news will be music to the ears of potential guests who look forward to a morning feast.
